Pittsburgh Knows Parties-Splash Bash 2012

03 September 2012

Splash Bash 2012 was a soaking success!  The weather was perfect.  The treats were super sweet.  The children were happy and had a blast!  Thank you to Ashley from Peace.Love.Pretzels. for helping me make this day super special for the kids.

Dessert Table

The dessert table had many delicious sweets.  From cookies to cupcakes...everything was scrumptious!

These amazing, HAND PAINTED pretzels and adorable teddy bear cake pops are created by Peace. Love. Pretzels.

Look at the little bikini tops on these bears!!!  How cute is that???

Cupcake toppers, banner, place cards and fabric streamer back drop are designed by party paper scissors.

Beach ball, sun and flip flop cookies by Cookie Coterie.  Not only are Cassie's cookies delicious and darling, they are AFFORDABLE!

We created these adorable Day at the Beach Jello desserts with Jello, sea creature gummies, gummy bears, homemade icing and gram cracker crumbs.  These were a huge hit!  We used biodegradable wooden spoons by Sucre Shop.

These super cute fish cookies on fishing poles made a fabulous centerpiece and were made by Sugar Me Desserterie.  I asked Teresa to punch a little hole in the top of the fish in order to string them on the fishing pole.

Place setting at the children's table.

My daughter, Kaelen chose the design of the place cards.  Each place setting had a sea animal water squirter and a pair of goggles.  These were to be used to squirt the animal target plates that were strung across the yard.

The kids had a blast squirting the animal plate targets.

Art station to create a hand print fish.

Photo booth.

Happy Splash Basher.

This party was fun to plan, style and host!  All the kids had such a great time. We are definitely making this an annual event.
